Back from Searsy,Arkansas

The Lord has truly worked in our lives as well as the lives we have come in contact with during our trip to Arkansas. I have experienced Christ in a new way since our trip and I am encouraged to see what the Lord has planned for my life in the future. We were able to lead two revivals this last week and see many people come to the point of complete surrender to the Lord. I learned that there doesn't have to be hundreds of people for the Lord to work in huge ways. It is such a great feeling to know that the Lord was able to work through me during these revivals, and to see when I am unable God is able to do mighty things through me.

The children's conference was a huge success thanks to those in leadership, the team and those from Arkansas who willingly volunteered. We had just under one hundred children and nine of those chose to make Christ Lord of their life. Children are such a simple example of Christs love for us.

Oh and by the way Jon bought a new car while we were there. :)
It was sad leaving because I was able to make new friends.
I hope we may see each other again soon.
The Last day we got to float the Illinois river. Many people got really bad sunburns but we all had a blast and it was nice to be able to relax on the river after a long week.

( Notice Jon's face) scary:)

One more thing... I heard a song on K-love today that said "Little is much when God is in it", and that just kind of confirmed what you and I have been saying. When God is involved, the little things that seem tedious can make such a difference, and be so big. Sorry... I'm just excited to se what God's doing : )

Thanks Jon, I agree. God can do huge things from the small things when we are willing to let him work. I know that he had to bring me to that point several times on the trip. I found myself not willing, until God broke me and made me realize that he has a plan for every moment of my life. And he wants to use us, but we need to let him and expect him to use us.
