8 Things I Feel Strongly About

- I want to be more than just a Christian. I feel like many Christians today look passed the real idea of what it means to truly believe in God. It is much more then that, it is a relationship. Jesus seeks a personal relationship with us every second and we just tune out his voice. He is calling us to take that extra step we need to be just a little closer to Him. Life isn't about us and we have missed what it is about, we are called to know Him and to make Him known, and unless we are willing to drop everything if that's what it takes to know and serve Christ better then we might as well quit telling everyone we are Christians and just please ourselves. I know that's not what I am going to do, because I believe that one day when Christ is ready He is going to come and get me and take me home, and when I stand before Him I know what I want to hear "Well done, good and faithful servant." Wow what an amazing day that will be. So until then I will never falter, I will never quit taking those extra steps closer to the God of the universe. Jesus, use me for your glory and make me more like you.

- Family and making home a fun place to be. My parents have done a great job with that. My parents really encourage us to enjoy being with our family and we have a lot of fun together.

- Legalism, Forcing what the Lord has called you to onto others. Or judging them just because they aren't doing the same thing you do. In scripture it says we are each called to our own place and in the same way we judge others we shall be judged. We are called to love and I believe once people truly grasp that, there would be a lot less judgement passed.

- Going after your dreams. If there is something you want to do (as long as you are under your parents authority and in line with scripture) do it and don't let anyone tell you you can't. We are all different and sometimes people get caught up with trying to be like, or look like everyone else. Don't do it. Be who you are and say what you want to say. Have fun enjoy yourself, God made you perfect so love it. Accept what you can't change, change what you can and learn to know the difference.

- Youth without Godly guidance, truth or Love, enough said.

- Men who don't accept the role they have been given by Christ to be leaders and protectors of women. We need men in the world but if they are going to be wimps and jerks then how are we suppose to look up to them.

- Gossip, Oh it just Ticks me off. If you think you know or saw something about someone, before you share it with everyone and their dog!, ask the person make sure it is truth.

- When people say something negative about children in a sense that they are difficult or wild. Or when they say that you are crazy for having so many children, that frustrates me. My mom only has five and she has done a great job and she loves it, thanks mom. Yes children are crazy sometimes but all they need is love and rules, then you will be their best friend forever. Children should be seen as blessings not trouble.
