YOU GROW "Yeilding ourselves unashamed, as Gods ready open workers."

What convictions might a disciple of Jesus hold?

#1 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart.

Jesus said, "if you love me you will keep my commandments." The thing we must understand is what Jesus wants most, above anything else is our hearts. So if we love Him, we will want to keep his commandments. That is why I believe loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength is so important. It makes everything else that much easier.

Matthew 22:37
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.

Now before we can love God with all our hearts we must give up what we hold onto, we can't hold anything back from the God who gave us everything. Let it go, that big thing that you think you can't live without, let it go. Let go of the little things at the back of your mind that don't seem to be in the way of your love for God. Let them go. I can't tell you how much freedom comes when we are willing to give up those things that mean the most to us. Gods asking, are you willing?

We must bury our selfishness and pride deep in the heart of Jesus, let Him take away those feelings that never cease to exist. Let Him give you the strength to overcome any temptation, bitterness and heartache. Call on His name to save you from the deepest sin. He loves you, He is asking you to love Him back.

Will you love Him? the God of the World. He wants you, He is calling you to Himself. Make Jesus Lord of your life and enter into a relationship.
