Hunted in our back yard..

Our dogs have been digging in our back yard for a couple of weeks now, trying to catch something. We weren't sure what they were looking for, my mom was thinking they were trying to catch a mole. Well today we found out what this long hunt was all about... it was a large field mouse. I thought it was a rat, that is how big it was. The yellow lab caught it and our little westie killed it, I guess we know they make a great team. Well I went outside to get a closer look and ended up having to deal with it. So mom held the bag as I took the shovel and put the cute little dead creature in it, Yucky. And yes I did scream like a girl. So that was an exciting adventure, and of course these things always happen when my dad is gone. Another reason I need a big brother. This picture is similar to the one hunted in my back yard only it was bigger, yup creepy.
