Discipleship

It has been a while since I have posted. Life is getting crazy. It seems that I have no extra time anymore. I have started a job writing paragraphs for google on top of everything else that I am doing. That is what I was doing right now, I just needed a break. I need to write 30 paragraphs before 12p.m tonight if I want to get paid by Monday. Yup, Crazy, and I need to get paid really bad.

Yesterday Liberty had basketball games. Joseph and Taylor played and did very well. I do have to brag a little on Joseph though, he made four points in a Junior Varsity game! The thing is, he was only in for about a minute. I am so proud of him. He is going to be a very good basketball player.

I have been sick these past couple of days. I was waking up in the middle of the night with sinuses and I just couldn't sleep. I think I am still recovering, because I am very tired.

My basketball is underway, with our first official practices beginning next week. I am getting excited about our season this year. I think we will do a lot better than last year. I am also hoping to build relationships with the girls on my team to show Gods truth through my life. I already see ways God is opening doors for us to grow closer then we have been in past years. I love my new coach, he is going to really make a difference in who we are as a team. Coach wants each girl to give devotions during our practices, I am giving devotions next Monday.

We go into the schools next week for Character First. The past four Wednesdays we have been doing trainings. They went well but I am anxious to begin teaching. My partner this year is Rebekah Maxwell, it is going to be good. I don't know her very well but I am looking forward to know her better. Speaking of CF, I need to plan my lesson for Wednesday. Wow, I have a lot to get done.

On Monday nights during YouGrow we have been able to lead breakouts with the new students. I have really enjoyed the time I have had with the girls in my group. It is funny how much more you learn when you are doing the teaching. I know I have learned a lot. God seems to teach me something new every minute.

I take the ACT next Saturday(stomach just sank). I have prepared for it, I just don't feel like it was enough. I am going to cram some more in this week. Please be praying for me as I prepare and then take it at 7:30a.m. on Sat.
