Recently...

We went to my cousins wedding on Thursday evening. It was a lovely outdoor wedding. It was simple and short, but really special. The reception was nice and the cake was beautiful. My favorite things at wedding receptions are the chocolate fountains.
Strive is going great. We had a good lesson this past Wednesday on taming our tongues and the power we have with the words that we speak. I was able to share with the class how difficult it is for me to speak in a loving way when dealing with my siblings and they all admitted that they also struggle with using kind words when it comes to their siblings as well. We are also working on being servant leaders and leading by example. Strive has taught me just as much as the students, if not more. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to build relationships with these young people. I am having a blast. Please pray for me, as well as my class as we continue to grow closer to the Lord together.

On Memorial Day our family just hung out and enjoyed fellowship as we played games, ate and relaxed. We also had Grandma over and Byron came over for a while just to hang out. We had fun playing a couple games of volleyball and then Byron offered to take us for a ride on his dirt bike and that was a lot of fun. The weekend was fun, very relaxing and greatly needed.

Right now I am working on my senior album. I am trying to get it done by the 6th of June, which is the day I graduate, I am not sure that will happen. I have a lot to get done by then and the time is getting shorter.

After graduation we have character week, which I am very involved in. I love children’s conferences in case you didn't know.

God has been teaching me a lot since I got back from the trip. I am having a hard time being consistent with my quite time with God. I want that to be something that I can't start the day without, but I can't seem to get there. I will keep working at it and I know God will give me the passion I need to spend quality time with Him if I will choose to wait on Him.

I think that is all that is new with me. I hope you have a blessed day and a life filled with sunshine and rainbows.
